Microneedling, also called Collagen Induction Therapy, uses a device to create micro-wounds in the dermis. These micro-injuries trigger the bodies natural healing process, producing new collagen and elastin. The result is improved skin texture and laxity and a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scars and stretch marks. These channels also allow serums to be driven deep in the dermis, increasing the skins utilization of nutrients by up to 3000%.
Unfortunately, our body stops producing collagen in our mid to late 20s, and by the time we are 35, half the collagen levels in our skin will be lost. After age 30 our collagen level drops 1% - 2% every year. Microneedling helps reduce this aging effect by stimulating collagen production through controlled injury of the skin. The skin’s self-repair response is turned on by the thousands of micro-channels created in the skin that triggers new collagen production and allows for better transdermal delivery of the products applied. This will increase effectiveness of the procedure and heal the skin further.
A single procedure will create change, but a series of 3-6 treatments is ideal for optimal results. The majority of patients’ skin will be red and flushed for 12-24 hours. Withing 2 weeks you will start to see changes that will continue for 3 months.

Nano needling is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a pen-like device equipped with ultra-fine silicone or stainless-steel tips to gently exfoliate the skin and stimulate the outer layer, the epidermis. Unlike microneedling, which penetrates deeper into the dermis, nano needling only affects the surface layers, making it suitable for sensitive skin and those seeking a quick facial refresh. The device creates thousands of nano channels, which allow skincare products to penetrate more effectively and promote cell turnover.
During the procedure, the nano needling pen is applied to the skin, and the silicone-tipped pins gently touch the surface, creating microchannels that close within about 15 minutes. This process stimulates the skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin, improving tone, texture, hydration, and elasticity. The shallow penetration ensures there is no bleeding, peeling, or downtime, unlike traditional microneedling.
